====== Celebrating the work of Aldus Manutius ====== 14 January-6 April 2015, University of Glasgow Library (Hillhead Street, Glasgow, G12 8QE, Scotland) Curated by Michelle Craig A small display of **Aldine incunables** has been put together. This will be on show in our foyer in **Special Collections** on level 12 of the library until April 2015. We have chosen three books that highlight Aldus’ major contribution to print culture: his first book, Constantinus **Lascaris’ Erotemata** (1495); **Jamblichus**: De mysteriis Aegyptiorum, Chaldaeorum, Assyriorum (1497) – one of the many Platonic works that Aldus published; and a **Psalter** (1498) printed using one of Manutius’ Greek cursive typefaces. **Free** admission More info at https://universityofglasgowlibrary.wordpress.com/2015/01/14/glasgow-incunabula-project-and-exhibition-update-14115/ The //**Hypnerotomachia Poliphilii**// of the library will be shown in the major **incunabula** exhibition **Ingenious Impressions: the coming of the book**, from 27 February to 1 June 2015 in The Hunterian, University of Glasgow.
