This field contains the short title of a work of which a copy was owned by the described person or corporate body, if this item is considered a source of evidence for that person's or corporate body's name or other data related to that person/corporate body.
Indicator 1: none
Indicator 2: Specifies the type of input:
$8 Language code (O;R)
Mandatory to immediately precede each $n subfield. A three letter language code from the Marc Code List for Languages. See also the description of numerical subfields
$a Short title of work (M;NR)
$h Holding information (O;R)
Library which currently holds the mentioned copy.
Mandatory to precede each $l subfield.
$l Shelf location (O;R)
Shelfmark of the described copy.
$n Note (O;R)
Any further information concerning the work mentioned in $a.
Give a short title of the book owned by the described person or corporate entity. Any further information on the copy can be given in a specific note (subfield $n). This field should be used only in records describing persons or corporate bodies.
It is not the intention of the CERL Thesaurus to give extensive lists of items owned by a certain person/corporate body. This should be done in an appropriate external source (e.g. a library catalogue or a dedicated provenance database) and a link to that resource should be given in 956 Remote access to external systems (O;R) instead.
There is currently no mapping of this information to RDF.
