990 Redirect to other record (O;NR)

Field Definition and Scope

This field indicates that a record has been merged with another record and the contents of both records can be found under the other record's id.

$a Record Id of target record (M;NR)
any CERL Thesaurus record ID

Input Conventions

This field will be created autmatically when two records are merged. Although it is possible to edit the field manually, it is strongly reommended not to do so.

It is recommended, thouh, that all other fields remain in the record, representing the state of that record before it has been merged with the duplicate one.
