** CERL Seminar at the ETH Zurich, Wednesday 14 March 2018**, a one-day seminar on 'Visual approaches to cultural heritage.' The ‘icon turn’ has re-focused the attention of scholars from texts to visual material and its interpretation. Image-based search tools to sources and the visual presentation of research results have, however, not emerged equally fast. ETH Library, the Swiss centre for technical and natural scientific information, therefore takes the opportunity of organising the CERL Spring Seminar 2018 at ETH Library to discuss innovative forms of access and visualisation of research results.
