Collection Security Summer School 2024

The sixth edition of the the CERL Collection Security Summer School will take place on 11-13 September and is hosted by the University Library in Vilnius.

The Summer School will focus on security considerations around the storage of special collections, shelfing, environment, staffing access, boxing or not, special requirements for maps. The impact of the type of building in which the collection will be housed. Considerations when a new building is planned and build.

The programme will include visits to the two sites of the University Library and other large libraries in Vilnius. Participants will have the option to visit Trakai Castle as well (TBC).
